The aims of the programme are to prepare graduates with:
- In-depth mastery of knowledge in a sub-area of Da`wah and are capable of analyzing and synthesizing different opinions among the scholars.
- The ability to apply principles, theories and methods of the sub-area of da`wah in relevant contemporary settings
- The ability to carry out comparative studies involving islamic thought, religions and humanities
- Demonstrate in depth mastery of knowledge in the field Da’wah including the ability to analyse thoughts and ideas from classical (turath) as well as modern sources
Student can be religious teacher, Sariah consultant, Sariah staff, Islamic banker, Sariah law, adviser Sariah banker, Islamic scholar, Islamic Financial consultant, Islamic Finance Sales, Islamic Teacher, Islamic Educator, Auditor Islamic Banking, Islamic Financial Planner, Medical Islamic Officer, Admin Islamic Officer.
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree (Honours) with good grades from MEDIU, or any other institutions of higher learning recognized by the university OR any other certificate that is recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) or other relevant professional qualification and experience that are recognized by the University.
- A relevant General Bachelor’s degree (without Honours) with at least one year working experience, and, if deemed necessary, an applicant may be interviewed and/or required to sit for an entrance test in order to determine determine the applicants eligibility for admission to a specific programme.
- The department of faculty may, with the approval of the University Academic Council (UAC), require the applicant to satisfy additional conditions for admission to a specific programme.
