Objektif

1. Pengetahuan yang mendalam dalam ilmu bacaan dan sainsnya, dengan Kemampuan membaca Al-Quran dalam sepuluh ayat yang sering dibaca dengan Ifrad dan Jam.
2. Tahap kecekapan tinggi dalam menganalisis dan mensintesis pendapat yang berbeza di kalangan para ulama;
3. Keupayaan untuk menerapkan prinsip, teori dan kaedah kawasan yang dipilih untuk tetapan kontemporari yang relevan;
4. Keupayaan untuk menggunakan ide yang relevan dalam bidang moden untuk memenuhi keperluan semasa dan menyediakan penyelesaian alternatif; dan
5. Keupayaan untuk mensintesis idea dari pelbagai sumber untuk meningkatkan amalan profesional kontemporari.
6. Keupayaan untuk menawarkan idea-idea baru dan menulis penyelidikan saintifik berdasarkan penyelidikan yang sesuai dan bertanggungjawab di lapangan;
7. Kemahiran kritikal, analitik dan penyelesaian masalah untuk mempertahankan syak wasangka yang mungkin dibangkitkan terhadap Quran dan quiraat.
8. Kecekapan tinggi dalam mencari bahan dan maklumat dalam quranik Pengkhususan untuk penyelidikan, pembangunan kerjaya dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat.

Admission Requirements

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree (Honours) with good grades from MEDIU, or any other institutions of higher learning recognized by the university OR any other certificate that is recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) or other relevant professional qualification and experience that are recognized by the University.
• A relevant General Bachelor’s degree (without Honours) with at least one year working experience, and, if deemed necessary, an applicant may be interviewed and/or required to sit for an entrance test in order to determine determine the applicants eligibility for admission to a specific programme.
• The department of faculty may, with the approval of the University Academic Council (UAC), require the applicant to satisfy additional conditions for admission to a specific programme.
