السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Assalāmu ʿAlaykum Wa Rahmatu Allāh Wa Barakātuh

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

Warm greetings from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Al-Madinah International University in Malaysia. We ask Allah to guide us all towards goodness and righteousness.

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the teacher of goodness to humanity, and upon his family and companions.

I am honored to welcome all faculty members, esteemed students, and visitors to the Faculty’s website. We invite you to explore the site for information on guidelines, announcements about our activities and events, and to engage in effective communication with the Faculty’s administration, departments, and academic staff.

The Faculty is dedicated to fulfilling its mission, derived from the overarching mission of Al-Madinah International University, which emphasizes preserving Islamic heritage and the Arabic language, solidifying correct concepts, instilling supreme Islamic values, and preparing distinguished students capable of serving both local and international communities. We aim to equip them with youthful energy to carry the eternal Islamic message.

Our undergraduate and postgraduate programs are characterized by high academic quality, diversity in specializations, and contemporary presentation of educational materials. We leverage modern technology to connect students with their studies, presenting content in an engaging and accessible manner. These programs are designed to graduate students who are well-versed in their religion and conscious of their contemporary culture, enabling them to fulfill their roles in calling to Allah with knowledge and insight.

The Faculty comprises four main departments:

  1. Department of Al-Qur’an and its Sciences.
  2. Department of Al-Hadith and its Sciences.
  3. Department of Fiqh and Usul Fiqh.
  4. Department of Dʿawah and Usuluddin.

Additionally, the Faculty offers various educational and training programs that respond to the evolving needs of the job market.

We take pride in the progress and success achieved by the Faculty, which motivates us to exert further efforts in serving Islam, the Qur’an and its language, society, humanity, and the realms of knowledge and education.

Through the preparation of specialized students distinguished in the Sharia field both academically and intellectually, conducting scientific research, organizing international conferences, and providing various educational and training programs to both local and international communities, the Faculty continues to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with diverse societal segments and partners.

I encourage our students to strive diligently in their academic journey, acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to connect their present with their past, build their future, and face life’s challenges with confidence and capability.

May Allah grant us all success.

Sincerely,
